Anaheim, CA- September  9, 2011 – The Network of Arab American Professionals of Orange County (NAAPOC) will host its sixth annual “Meet the Professionals” dinner which will be held on October 22, 2011, at the Sheraton Hotel, 1855 South Harbor Boulevard, Anaheim, CA 92802.

More than 300 people are expected to attend this annual NAAPOC event, expected to be one of the largest Arab-American sit-downs in Southern California. Assemblyman Jose Solorio has been confirmed to be one of the event’s guest speakers. Assemblyman Solorio will talk about encouraging Arab-American-owned businesses; developing the community within the mainstream political parties; enhancing Latino-Arab relationships; and how to position Arab-Americans to take on more meaningful public leadership roles.

The guests’ list includes corporate sponsors such as Comerica Bank, government officials, major national speakers and awardees. Attendees will be treated to a three course dinner along with entertainment from Arab-American stand-up comedians. The goal of this inspirational event is to raise funds to support the NAAPOC programs; and most importantly to help Arab Americans benefit from business networking opportunities, especially during the current economic condition in our country and resultant loss of jobs and business along with cuts in pay that have caused much stress and fear.
